1) If you have a modem like 33.6 or 28.8, then select 38400
2) If you have either a Flex or 56k modem, then select 57600
Step-6:  Verify the box “only connect at this speed” is NOT checked.

Step-7:  Now click on the OK button and after this close the Control Panel.
Step-8:  From your desktop, double click on the icon My Computer-> double click on the “Dial-Up Networking”
Step-9: Now click on the icon Juno from the “File” menu and then select Properties.
Step-10: After this, click on the Configure button

Step-11: Select the General tab-> Maximum Speed and then adjust settings according to the modem.
